ARD star Klaus Otto Nagorsnik is dead
– 2024-04-24 23:38:59″>Klaus Otto Nagorsnik died unexpectedly in April. The station is now showing the episodes of “Gefragt – Gejagt” that it pre-produced. But the start caused dissatisfaction among the fans.
It was shocking news for all fans and loyal viewers of the ARD quiz show “Gefragt – Gejagt”. About three weeks ago, the broadcaster announced that Klaus Otto Nagorsnik died “surprisingly in April” at the age of 68. Since 2014, the librarian has been one of the “hunters” on the popular early evening program, inspiring audiences with his knowledge.
Even after his unexpected death, Klaus Otto Nagorsnik will still be seen on “Gefragt – Gejagt”. He died “in the middle of the production week” for the new season, said presenter Alexander Bommes a few days ago on the “NDR Talk Show” and revealed details about his colleague’s last hours, which you can read here.
“I am crying”
The librarian had already recorded some episodes, which will now be broadcast on ARD. On Monday, May 13th, the first one ran away – and caused a rollercoaster of emotions for the fans of KO, as they called him. At X, numerous viewers expressed their sadness. “Seeing him there takes me a lot” or “I’m in tears. He will be missed so much” can be read on the platform.
But after the end of the episode, there was a lot of dissatisfaction. Because there was no homage or anything similar in memory of the quiz star. “It’s a recording. But I would have expected an overlay showing that KO has since died. So it’s pretty disrespectful,” writes one user. “You could have really recorded and sent a 15-second clip of Klaus Otto Nagorsnik afterwards,” says another.
Someone agrees: “A little irritating, at least a memorial plaque could have been shown for five seconds.” “No mention in the credits! Shame on you, ARD”, “A short fade-in would certainly have been possible” or “If you want, you can do anything! Just leave out an advertisement, but it’s about money, not about a person”, others vent their anger.
There has been no comment from the broadcaster about this so far. “KO will always be a part of ‘Gefragt – GeJagt’. That’s why we look forward to every edition with him,” said the quiz show’s official Instagram account simply alongside a black and white photo of the deceased.
