jpnn.comJAKARTA – Member of the DPD RI from the Lampung electoral district, Bustami Zainudin, spoke up in response to the statement of his colleague, Yorrys Raweyai, who accused the DPD leadership of being arrogant.
Bustami said that Yorrys Raweyai, who currently serves as Chairman of Committee II of the DPD, does not understand the organizational mechanisms and is childish.
Because, he said, Yorrys actually covered up his defeat in the battle of concepts and ideas by personally attacking the DPD leader.
He considered that the arguments, debates, and all the dynamics that occurred in the DPD Plenary Session were internal institutional issues.
According to Bustami, this is common in all organizations, including the DPR and DPD.
“However, what Yorrys et al. showed was on the contrary, childish and appeared to not understand the organizational mechanism. He (Yorrys) slandered the DPD leadership, to cover up his defeat in the battle of concepts and ideas at the organization’s highest forum,” said Bustami in his written statement, Friday (26/7).
Previously, DPD member from the Papua Electoral District, Yorrys Raweyai, said that the chaos during the DPD Plenary Session at the Nusantara IV Building, Parliament Complex on Friday (12/7) occurred due to the leadership style of LaNyalla Mattalitti and Nono Sampono.
According to him, the two DPD leaders have provided examples of authoritarian and exclusive leadership.
Senator from the Lampung electoral district, Bustami Zainudin, criticized Yorrys et al., who he considered did not understand the organizational mechanisms and were childish.
