At least 30 people have been injured in a gas leak at a hotel in Cuba.

Saratoga is a hotel located in Havana, the capital of the North American country of Cuba.

The hotel was operating as usual yesterday morning. Then, suddenly a terrible explosion was heard in the hotel. Over the next few minutes a part of the hotel collapsed.

Informed rescue team rushed there. Many people trapped in the rubble were rushed to hospital.

Eight people died tragically in the crash. Another 30 people were injured.

The work of rescuing those trapped in the rubble continues. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accident took place due to a leak of cooking gas in the hotel.
