“Cult” series: Angela Lorente, former priestess of reality TV, “The former students of the Loft call me mom”

Since its release on Prime Video on October 18, “Cult” has been talked about a lot. In the behind-the-scenes series of “Loft Story” broadcast on the Prime Video platform, true and false coexist. Some characters – the lofters, the animator Benjamin Castaldi – have their real names, while the others are invented. But it’s easy to make the connection between Isabelle de Rochechouart (played by Anaïde Rozam) and Alexia Laroche-Joubert (also co-producer of “Cult”) or between the fictional Elena Valente and Angela Lorente. The latter, editor in chief of “Loft”, and now independent producer, wants to put things right.
