Sabrina Carpenter’s “Arrests” Reach Finale as ‘Short n’ Sweet’ Tour Nears End
Sabrina Carpenter’s playfully subversive concert tradition – “arresting” celebrities for the “crime of being too pretty” – is drawing to a close as her year-long “Short n’ Sweet Tour” approaches its final performances. The singer delighted fans at her second of six shows at the Crypto.com Arena on November 18, 2025, with the latest installment of the fan-favorite segment.
The ritual, which takes place during Carpenter’s performance of the song “Juno,” has become a highly anticipated moment for concertgoers, eager to discover which star will be playfully apprehended next. However, Carpenter’s upcoming shows at the Crypto.com Arena will mark the last opportunity for fans to witness these lighthearted “arrests,” signaling the end of an era for the tour.
Carpenter has previously “arrested” a roster of high-profile celebrities, including Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway, Gigi Hadid, Millie Bobby Brown, Marcello Hernández, and Margaret Qualley.
During the Los Angeles concert, Carpenter interrupted her set to playfully accuse sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning of being excessively attractive. “One of you is cute, but two? Wow!” Carpenter exclaimed, paraphrasing a lyric from “Juno,” much to the amusement of the actresses and the audience. She then presented them with pairs of pink stuffed handcuffs.
A social media post captured the moment:

Carpenter continued, playfully asking the Fanning sisters, “Does jail sound good to you? It’s very brief and with minimal time, and it’s only because they are so pretty.”
The Fanning sisters appeared to embrace the playful spirit of the moment, even coordinating their outfits with Carpenter’s aesthetic. Both actresses wore slip dresses in pastel tones – Dakota in pale pink and Elle in light blue – a choice Carpenter noted was a “match made in heaven.”
Looking ahead, fans in Chile will have the opportunity to experience Carpenter’s unique brand of mischief and sweetness, as she is scheduled to perform at the 2026 edition of Lollapalooza Chile.
