Czech President Peter Pavel said on Saturday that Ukraine, within the framework of the Czech initiative, will receive about 100,000 pieces of ammunition in July and August of this year.
Pavel indicated that the Ukrainian forces will receive from September to the end of the year 80 to 100 thousand pieces of ammunition per month.
The President of the Czech Republic arrived yesterday, Friday, in the American city of Houston, where he will speak in political debates and will also meet with local politicians and businessmen.
According to the website Message List, Pavel declared that no major progress should be expected in the near future, but the West should try to convince Russia that it cannot achieve any major success on the battlefield. He believes this will allow a faster transition to the negotiating table.
The Czech President emphasized the need to provide Ukraine with everything necessary to improve its defense capabilities.
