A store created by refugees is operating in Colombia.

A tailor shop is located in Vancouver, Columbia. The store is made up of refugees from countries including Sri Lanka, Vietnam, China, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. And they all have a combined 60 years of experience in making uniforms for people working in various fields, for example, Canadian Army, Police, Fire Department, Forestry. And there is a terrible story behind this store. One girl was married at the age of 14 and came to Canada as a refugee with two children. Then the woman’s husband was shot dead. And his brother was beheaded in Syria.

In this case, the person who runs the shop for refugees of various nationalities and ethnic backgrounds is also a refugee. His name is Farid Rohani who came to Canada as a small boy from Iran and Farid bought the shop from sinking condition and gave many people jobs. And a uniform and each part is made by different people working in the shop. He said about this. He said that even though there are various parts in a body, the people here work as if they all work together as one body, and that is unity in diversity.
