O trial of right-back Daniel Alvesaccused of sexually assaulting a woman in a nightclub in Barcelona, in December 2022, it reached its third day. On the afternoon of this Wednesday (7), the Brazilian player is the one who testifies before judge Isabel Delgado Pérez.
In his speech, Daniel Alves cried, confirmed excessive alcohol use on the night of the alleged crime, but denied that he had committed rape against the woman.

“I met my [três] friends for lunch at Taberna del Clínic. We arrived around 2:30 pm. At first, we were just going to eat, but we hadn’t seen each other for a long time, we stayed until 1am. We ordered five bottles of wine and a bottle of Japanese whiskey.”
“When we left the restaurant, we went to Nuba and had a round of gin and tonic. To get there, we went by car. Bruno [Brasil, amigo do jogador que prestou depoimento nesta terça] drove, because I had drunk too much and couldn’t drive.”

“They didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. They arrived and started to greet us. A conversation started, we were moving around, talking to each other. I am a very close person, but with respect. We were dancing, interacting.”

“She put her hand back and started touching my parts. She said yes to go to the bathroom, I didn’t need to insist. I told her I would go to the bathroom first and waited a while, thinking she wouldn’t come, that she didn’t want to go. And when I opened the door, I practically ran into her.”
“She knelt in front of me and started giving me oral sex. I dropped my pants and sat on the toilet. (Alves imitates the position in court).”
“I received news that I was being accused of rape by the press. The world collapsed on me. I was practically ruined because my account in Brazil had been blocked and all my contracts had been broken (Daniel Alves starts to cry)“.
