The song “Immigrato” from the film “Tolo Tolo” by Luca Medici, aka Checco Zalone, won the David in the dedicated category. “If I knew I would come. My family are asleep, they don’t give a damn that I won,” joked the Apulian comedian who was streaming from his living room. “I have prepared a few words. The usual left-wing clique that rewards the usual ones, no this was the leaflet if I lost. Thanks to the academy for the meritocratic recognition”, so Checco Zalone unleashing the hilarity of the conductor Carlo Conti and all present at the ceremony at the Rai studios in Rome.
