The actor opened up about the unforgettable experience during an episode of the popular podcast ‘Happy, Sad, Confused.’
Harbour revealed that he had to pull some strings to secure tickets to Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour concert for his stepdaughter. Although they had hoped to meet Swift, the pop star had to rush off for a flight immediately after the show.
The actor recalled, “It was extraordinary because I did say as we went in, ‘If there is an opportunity to say hello,’ I was like, ‘Please.’ And they said, ‘She’s leaving on a plane right after the concert,’ and I was like, ‘Oh then [never mind].'”
However, Harbour explained that after around 30 minutes of the concert, a woman approached their booth with a handwritten letter addressed to him and his stepdaughter on a unique stationery. He described his stepdaughter’s reaction as “speechless.”
In the letter, Swift expressed her gratitude and promised to give them a wave from the stage. True to her word, during one of her performances, Swift turned towards their booth and waved at them.
Reflecting on the experience, Harbour praised Taylor Swift as a “force of nature” and admitted that he previously was not familiar with her music. He shared, “Seeing her perform for three-and-a-half hours, that’s like 45 songs. She barely leaves the stage, I don’t know when she pees. It’s ridiculous, she’s a force of nature.”
Apart from the heartwarming anecdote, Harbour also teased fans about the upcoming fourth season of ‘Stranger Things.’ He stated that he knows how the show will conclude and promised that it will be a “very moving” moment. The actor expressed his excitement to wrap up the series in a bold and amazing way, especially for the original characters who have been cherished by fans for the past eight years.
