David Laron, Shufersal’s Deputy CEO, asked to end his tenure

Globes has learned that David Laron, Deputy CEO of Shufersal and Director of Operations and Supply Chain, announced today (Sunday) For leaving the company. Laron’s departure comes a month and a half after Ofer Bloch’s appointment as CEO of Shufersal, who will replace Itzik Aberkhan.

Ron joined Shufersal’s VP of Operations in 2015, and a little over a year ago was upgraded to his current position. Prior to that, he held a number of senior positions at various companies such as Delek Israel, Tnuva, Cellcom and Strauss.

The latest reports published last week show that Ron, together with Nir Metosevich, VP Eran Meiri and CEO of the Be Uri Waterman chain, each earned between NIS 2.5 million and NIS 2.9 million in 2021.

No response was received from Shufersal.
