The State Revenue Committee assures that there were no professional problems between SRC Chairman Davit Ananyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“The disagreement was exclusively of a labor nature, related to personnel issues. Mr. Ananyan preferred to leave himself, rather than dismiss one of the effective personnel with long-term experience in the field”, said the SRC news service to Aysor.am.
To remind, yesterday Ananyan announced that he submitted a dismissal application to the Prime Minister. However, Ananyan did not talk about the reasons.
According to press publications, the reason for the resignation of the SRC president was the photos taken at the Ararat customs house, where the anti-epidemic rules were not observed.
“The Prime Minister demanded that the head of the customs office, Mher Martirosyan, be immediately fired from the SRC chairman.
However, Ananyan refused to comply with the Prime Minister’s request, justifying it by the fact that Martirosyan is a long-time specialist, a professional in his field, and the President of the SRC considered it unfair and pointless to fire the customs specialist for the accumulation of people,” Hraparak wrote.
