New Delhi: The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has approved the introduction of Kovacin, a Kovid vaccine by Bharat Biotech, for 12-18 year olds. In August, all three doses of Sydus Cadillac vaccine were approved by the DCGI.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandav said all the states and union territories have sufficient stock of the vaccine. India has the capacity to produce 31 crore doses of vaccine in a month. He said India’s capacity for vaccine production would reach 45 crore in the next two months.
