The top 5 continuous DDoS attacks recorded by Servicepipe specialists included attacks on a near-state resource (which began on February 28, 2022), an Internet resource of the regional government (March 3, 2022), and a resource associated with a gas station, which has been going on since May 26 2022, marketplace (from July 14, 2022) and gaming resource (from February 26, 2023). Thus, the longest DDoS attacks have been going on for almost two years, whereas before the start of the SVO in Ukraine, the longest attacks lasted only a couple of months, a company representative explained. “The order for a long continuous attack may not necessarily be dictated solely by political motives. At least two of the top five players’ attacks are most likely the result of unfair competition,” the interlocutor added.
