Kozhikode: Two youths were found hanging in the same neighborhood in Nanmanda on the same day. The deceased have been identified as Nanmanda Marakkat Mukk Marakkat Chalil Abhinand (27) and neighbor Marakkat Vijeesh (34). Abhinand was found dead in the kitchen of the family home and Vijeesh was found dead in the woodshed near the house.
Abhinand came home from the festival place of the temple near his house. Vijeesh arrived home on Sunday night from the Kodungallur temple. Balussery police conducted the inquest.
Abhinand, the son of Rajan and Pushpa, is an employee of the Wayanad Agricultural Development and Welfare Department. Vijeesh, son of Krishnankutty Kurup and the late Devi, is an auto driver. He was the Joint Secretary of BMS Nanmanda Panchayat and a member of the Nanmanda Auto Co-ordination Committee. Sister: Vindhya.
