Death of a scooterist in Kilimanoor; Car driver arrested; Case for negligent and negligent driving

Thiruvananthapuram: Girish Kumar (54), a native of Tiruvalla, who drove the car in the accident in which a scooter passenger died in Kilimanoor, has been arrested. The police stated that the cause of the accident was that the accused had fallen asleep. A case has been registered for careless and excessive speeding. The accident took place while Girish was returning from the airport.

After the out of control car rammed into two cars, the scooter was overturned. M.S. Ajila (32), a teacher at Kilimanoor MGM School, died at Papala MSA Cottage. The injured son Aryan (5 years old) was admitted to the private medical college hospital in Venjaramoot. The incident happened at 4.15 pm on Sunday.

The accident happened when he was going on a scooter with his son to visit his relative who lives in Vamanapuram. The oncoming car lost control and hit Ajila’s scooter.
