Demand for economical use of electricity in Sri Lanka!

by time news

The Association of Technical Engineers of the Ceylon Electricity Board has demanded that electricity be used sparingly as a temporary solution to the power crisis.

Fear added that the general public should also be involved in resolving the power crisis issue.

The Secretary of Fear said that he was obliged to provide electricity to the people 24 hours a day but in the current crisis situation in the country there was a problem in providing uninterrupted power supply.

He added that two power outages have been reported in the country recently and a committee should be appointed to look into the matter and submit a report.

He pointed out that such abuses had taken place in the past and that incidents could recur due to improper distribution of reports appointed to investigate them.
