Sheikh Fazlul Karim Salim, Member of Parliament of Gopalganj-2 Constituency and Presidium Member of Awami League, demanded to ban BNP-Jamaat politics.
He said, anti-independence BNP and Jamaat should be banned in Bangladesh politics. If their politics is banned, Bangabandhu’s soul will be at peace, the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu’s dream will be built easily.
He said these things while participating in the discussion of the motion of thanks on the President’s speech at the National Parliament session on Monday (February 12).

He said, BNP is not a political party. The group is a militant organization. The future of the party will be similar to that of Maulana Bhasani’s party Nap. Zia was an ISI agent. Zia was born in Pakistan. He also studied in Pakistan. Zia was posted to Bangladesh as an ISI agent during the Agartala conspiracy case in 1969.
Sheikh Salim alleged that BNP-Jamaat started sabotage one after another to stop the January 7 elections. Sitting in London, Tarek Zia called for non-cooperation movement. The people responded to him in the election.
