Zakir Hossain Chowdhury and Dr. have been appointed as Deputy Governors of Bangladesh Bank. Md. Kabir Ahmed. Both of them are working as Executive Directors of the Central Bank.
They have been appointed in a notification signed by Deputy Secretary Afshana Bilkis from the Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance on Sunday (September 8).
It is said in the notification, the executive director of Bangladesh Bank. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury and Dr. Md. Kabir Ahmed has been appointed as Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank for a period of 3 years from the date of his joining.
