Representatives of the Central Bank, according to the businessman, can regulate the rate of economic growth in manual mode, since they are engaged in registration of emissions and are fully aware of which projects are financed by banks. “Moreover, they practically sit on the board of directors of every large bank,” added Oleg Deripaska.
In August, Oleg Deripaska commented on the decline in the business activity index (PMI) of the services sector in Russia to a minimum in five months. He said long-term economic growth was hampered by the actions of the Russian central bank. Then he criticized another increase in the key rate by the regulator.
