President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev will pay an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan on May 8, Day.Az reported on Tuesday with reference to the administration of the President of Bulgaria.
The delegation, led by the President of Bulgaria, includes the acting Minister of Energy, the chairman of the Bulgaria-Azerbaijan friendship group in the National Assembly and business representatives.
Strengthening and deepening the bilateral strategic partnership in areas of mutual interest, including the economy, energy, high technology, innovation, transport and tourism, will be the subject of President Rumen Radev’s visit.
The parties are expected to sign a Joint Declaration on strengthening the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan.
In Baku, Rumen Radev will meet with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Professor Sahiba Gafarova, and will talk with Bulgarian specialists working in the field of sports in Azerbaijan.
During his visit to Azerbaijan, the Bulgarian head of state will be accompanied by his wife Desislava Radeva.
