State Fund “Agriculture” (DFZ) translated second tranche in the amount of BGN 7,724,879 million to 13,992 farmers under the schemeHelp in the form of a discount on the value of excise duty on gas oil, used in primary agricultural production’. The disbursed funds represent 7.9% of the approved amount of state aid for all applicants. The first tranche of the due state aid in the amount of over BGN 90 million was paid to farmers on October 30, 2023.
We remind you that the budget for 2023 under the scheme, according to which the costs of agricultural producers for purchased fuel in 2022 are reimbursed, is BGN 100 million at a rate of BGN 0.41 per liter. The discount that farmers receive is determined by an order of the Minister of Agriculture and Food.
The aid is provided in the form of a reduction in the excise duty rate on gas oil used for mechanized activities in primary agricultural production in the Crop and Livestock sectors.
