The board of directors of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited, listed in the insurance sector of the capital market, has declared 17 percent dividend for the shareholders. Its all cash dividends.

The board of directors of the company has decided to pay this dividend to the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended on December 31, 2023. As a result, the shareholders will get a cash dividend of 1.70 taka against every 10 taka worth of shares.

On Tuesday (May 7) this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) sources.

The decision regarding the dividend was taken after reviewing the last year’s audited financial report in the meeting of the company’s board of directors held on Monday (May 6).

The annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on July 8 to approve the declared dividend to the shareholders. For this, the record date has been fixed on June 3.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ended at Rs.2.84. The profit per share of the company in the same period of the previous financial year was Rs.3.

Net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of the company for the financial year under review was Rs.0.18. During the corresponding period of the previous financial year, the company’s NOCFPA was Rs.3.

Net asset value per share (NAVPS) of the company stood at Tk 23.95 at the time of discussion. In view of this corporate announcement, there will be no price limit for the trading of shares of the company on this day.
