Mohali: Shikhar Dhawan will replace Mayank Agarwal as the captain of Punjab Kings for the 2023 IPL season. The decision was taken at a board meeting of the Punjab Kings franchise. Under Mayank, Punjab failed to reach the playoffs last season. The player was also formout. Recently, Trevor Bayliss, who made England ODI world champions and Kolkata Knight Riders two-time IPL champions, was appointed as the team’s head coach instead of Anil Kumble.
