The Game Music Festival will return to London in June 2026,bringing orchestral performances of iconic video game soundtracks to the Royal Festival Hall and Fairfield Halls. The festival promises a deep dive into the musical worlds of beloved titles, including Diablo, Hades, Persona, and the works of celebrated composer Hitoshi Sakimoto.
A Party of Gaming’s Soundscapes
The festival’s 2026 schedule boasts a diverse range of musical experiences. Attendees can look forward to dedicated concerts for the Diablo franchise, the Hades series (Hades I and Hades II), and the persona series (Persona 3, 4, and 5). A special event will also honor Hitoshi Sakimoto,the composer behind the scores for Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII,among manny others.

- June 13 — The Colors of Harmony: Hitoshi Sakimoto 40th Anniversary Celebration (Fairfield Halls)
- June 19 — An evening with Troy baker & Austin Wintory (Fairfield Halls)
- June 27 — Ballads of the Underworld featuring music from Hades & Hades II (Royal Festival Hall)
- June 27 — Persona Grooves featuring music from Persona 3, 4, 5 (Royal Festival Hall)

Tickets for select concerts are already available. Tickets for The Infernal Symphony begin at £57, providing an indication of pricing for other Royal Festival Hall performances. The two Fairfield Halls concerts — featuring Sakimoto and Baker & Wintory — currently offer tickets starting at £55.
Building on Last Year’s Success
The festival’s 2025 iteration proved a resounding success,notably the orchestral performance of the Baldur’s Gate 3 soundtrack. One attendee described the concert as “unforgettable,†noting how a full Philharmonia orchestra brought Borislav Slavov’s score to life “with passion.†Slavov himself made an emotional appearance, expressing gratitude for player support. The event was further elevated by the presence of the Larian development team and cast members, including Andrew Wincott, the actor who voiced Raphael, who performed the character’s iconic “Mortal Lives†song during an encore.“The audience — wich more resembled a raucous crowd at this point — went wild.
