Diddy Sex Assault Claims: LA Sheriff Investigates

Diddy Faces New Sexual Assault Investigation Amid Prison Sentence

A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigation has been launched into new allegations of sexual assault against Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently serving a four-year federal prison sentence. The probe comes as a Florida-based record producer alleges he was assaulted by Combs on two separate occasions.

The Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit initiated the investigation due to one of the alleged incidents occurring in East Los Angeles, according to department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida. The producer initially reported the incidents to police in Largo, Florida.

The producer, identified in media interviews as the anonymous plaintiff in a civil lawsuit filed in July, alleges he was subjected to sexual acts in 2020 and 2021 while collaborating on a remix project of music by the late Biggie Smalls, also known as Christopher Wallace. This work brought him into contact with Combs and his record label, Bad Boy Records.

A spokesperson for Combs has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the new investigation.

According to the civil suit, one alleged incident took place in December 2020 at a Los Angeles warehouse containing clothing belonging to Notorious B.I.G., slated for donation to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame prior to Wallace’s induction. The lawsuit alleges Combs “provided drugs to everyone present,” creating a chaotic environment where individuals were “tripping on the drugs.” The suit further claims Combs then “started watching porn on his cell phone, grabbed one of Biggie’s shirts off a rack, and began to masturbate with it in front of the plaintiff.” Following this, Combs allegedly threw the shirt at the producer, laughing and saying “Rest in peace, Biggie” before departing.

A second alleged incident occurred in March 2021. The producer claims he was lured to a meeting under false pretenses by Christopher “CJ” Wallace Jr., Biggie Smalls’ son, and music producer Willie Mack. Upon arrival, the plaintiff alleges his head was covered, and Combs appeared, ordering everyone to leave before allegedly attempting to force a sexual act upon him while his head remained covered.

“I’m pushing for criminal charges to be filed against Combs at a state and federal level,” the producer stated in an interview earlier this month with ShockYa, confirming his identity as the plaintiff in the civil suit.

A police report obtained by People magazine last month details the producer’s initial report to Largo, Florida police on September 20th of this year.

Gary Dordick, the producer’s attorney, stated, “we intend to present our client’s case to a jury in California and we are confident that the truth will prevail.” Dordick added he could not comment further due to a recently filed defamation lawsuit.

That lawsuit was filed last week by Christopher Wallace Jr. in a Florida federal court, alleging a “calculated smear campaign” by the producer, including false statements about his alleged involvement in Combs’ parties and his purported role in luring the producer to a location where the alleged assault occurred.

An attorney for Willie Mack could not be reached for comment.

Wallace’s defamation suit details the producer’s involvement in a 2020 remix project, titled “Ready to Dance,” alongside Wallace and Mack. While a single was released, the remaining tracks were shelved due to a lack of interest. The suit claims the producer, upset by this decision, began making accusations of “inappropriate and abusive behavior” against Mack in 2021, but did not initially allege any assault.

Combs is currently incarcerated at Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dixon, a low-security federal penitentiary in New Jersey, serving his sentence related to previous charges. The latest allegations add another layer of legal scrutiny to the embattled music mogul’s ongoing legal battles.
