Dino Time Raiders: Time Travel, Dinosaurs, and Hilarious Chaos Coming to PC in 2026

A new strategy incremental game, Dino Time Raiders, promises a tongue-in-cheek blend of time travel, dinosaur capture, and prehistoric park management, launching on PC via Steam in spring 2026. Developed by solo creator Luke Webster and published by Armor Games Studios, the game will first be available to players through a playable demo on February 12, preceding its showcase at the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

The core concept of Dino Time Raiders centers around assembling a team – comprised of scientists and, perhaps, a few less-qualified interns – to journey through time, capture dinosaurs, and establish a prehistoric theme park in the present day. According to a company release, the experience is poised to be “all fun and games until the raptors escape, the herbivores eat the landscaping budget, and your PR department needs to explain another ‘guest incident.’”

The February 12 demo will offer players a first look at the game’s mechanics, including time-hopping missions, dinosaur capture, and the challenges of park management. This early access arrives strategically ahead of Dino Time Raiders’ inclusion in Steam Next Fest, providing a broader audience the opportunity to test their skills against the game’s “bitey attractions.”

Players can anticipate escalating challenges as they progress through different time periods, encountering stronger dinosaurs and increasingly complex risks. The game is presented with “charming pixel art” and designed for accessible, bite-sized gameplay that is both easy to learn and difficult to master.

Here’s a look at some of the key features players can expect:

  • Catch ’Em & Manage ’Em: Travel through time, tranquillise dinosaurs, and bring them back to your park for display (and occasional chaos).
  • Build Your Park: Place enclosures, paths, and facilities to grow your prestige and attract more guests, ideally the kind that survive.
  • Incremental Progression: Earn income, research upgrades, and expand across four prehistoric eras: Permian, Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous.
  • Simple Yet Addictive Loop: Alternate between short capture missions and long-term park management, keeping the pace fun and fast.
  • Humour & Chaos: Expect guest-eating carnivores, lawsuits, and ridiculous in-game newspaper headlines that chronicle your dino-driven disasters.
  • Replayability: Experiment with new park layouts, upgrades, and time periods for endless “one more run” sessions.
  • Charming Pixel Art: Clean, colourful visuals and tiny humans running from massive dinosaurs make the mayhem downright adorable.

Dino Time Raiders is slated for release on PC via Steam in 2026. Interested players can jump into the action sooner by playing the demo starting February 12 and wishlisting the game on Steam to receive updates on Steam Next Fest and beyond.

“Because let’s face it, what could possibly go wrong when you mix time travel, dinosaurs, and a business license?” the developers playfully ask.
