Dmitry Morozov has headed Megasila since 2003. This is one of the largest companies in the Volkovysk region and one of the largest transport companies in Belarus. Today, it employs about 200 people, and there are about 80 cars in the park.

State media reported that the company’s total turnover reached $50 million.

On September 30, 2021, the underground Rabochy Rukh accused the company of collaborating with the Lukashist regime and helping the Grodno Azot enterprise to circumvent sanctions. And in May 2022, Morozov received the BAMAP Honorary Worker medal (from the Belarusian Association of International Road Carriers), which is issued for achievements in the transport industry.

But in September 2022, propagandists began to attack him. On their channels, an article was published in which Megasila was accused of the fact that the company’s employees “provided the protesters with soft drinks”, and Dmitry “forced the company’s employees to follow the policemen.”

Already in January 2023, Dmitry was detained along with his entire family. According to the State Control Committee – for non-payment of 270 thousand rubles of taxes as a result of the artificial fragmentation of business (Article 243 of the Criminal Code), but it is noteworthy that he was the only one of all the detainees left in custody.

A couple of days ago, a video with Dmitry Morozov was released on all state channels – it became known that he was “hung” with Article 364 of the Criminal Code (“Violence or the threat of violence against a representative of the authorities”), and the man himself says that he participated in protests. Propagandists mention his name in the news about the “identification of extremists.” It is known that he is still in custody.
