Pathanamthitta ∙ A native of Pathanamthitta, who went missing while traveling from Tirupati, returned home on foot. When it stopped at Dindigul, Anil got down at the station and left the train before getting back on. Anil, a native of Pathanamthitta Mathur, went missing on the 3rd of last month.

The incident took place when he was returning with his family after taking his sister’s daughter for nursing in Andhra Pradesh. Anil says that after alighting at Dindigul station, he could not get back on board. It was only after reaching Chengannur that the family came to know that Anil was not with them. Then a complaint was lodged at Ilavumthitta police station. Anil does not have a mobile phone and does not know anyone’s number without seeing it.
