The 13th Filmworks Film Festival is about to take place, which celebrates the films made by the students of the International Film Academy (AIC). The selected works were produced by students of the Filmworks, Free Cinema, Film production and documentary. Check out the selected films below.
The Festival
This year the festival will take place 13 and 14 December, at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS)in Sao Paulo. The meetings are scheduled for Friday, from 4.30pm to 9.30pm, and Saturday, from 10.30am to 9pm, with times subject to change.
The objective of the Festival is to promote, encourage and encourage reflections on the short film format, seeking to improve exchanges between productions and the public, as well as bringing school students closer to the reality of film festivals.
Films will be awarded in several categories, including: Best free short film (for Cinema and Filmmaking courses), Best Documentary (for the Documentary course), New vision/new look (Filmworks 1) and, from Filmworks 2 onwards, in the categories Screenplay, Direction, Photography Direction, Art Direction, Editing, Sound, Main Performance, Support Performance And Best film.
