Dismissal of petition against Sasikala – Madras High Court order | Edappadi Palaniswami’s petition against Sasikala dismissed

Sasikala had filed an appeal in the Chennai High Court against her removal from the post of AIADMK General Secretary. A supporter of Tamil Nadu opposition leader Edappadi Palaniswami filed a petition in Chemmalai High Court to cancel this petition.

This petition came up for hearing in the High Court today. At that time, a request was made by petitioner Chemmala to dismiss Sasikala’s petition for non-payment of the appropriate court fee for the appeal petition. The judge refused to accept this and dismissed the petition filed by Semmala against Sasikala.
