The Director of the Commission’s office in Kirkuk, Imad Wali, told the (INA), today, Monday, “The Commission’s office in the governorate distributed approximately 80% of the voter cards,” indicating that “the Commission has completed all logistical, technical, and security preparations to hold the elections in 43 electoral centers and 315.” A polling station throughout the governorate. For his part, the governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Saeed, said, “The local government, in coordination with the Election Commission, has moved 169 electoral stations to accommodate the displaced.” Moreover, the leader of the law enforcement plan in Kirkuk, Major General Maan Al-Saadi, confirmed to the (INA), “The plan to secure the elections in Kirkuk was completed by developing a security plan with the support of army aviation, which will provide an air umbrella to protect the polling centers.”
