Health experts have confirmed that eating a wide variety of foods, i.e. diversifying your diet, may reduce the risk of cancer.

The experts said in their talk, which was reported by the Russia Today website, that “a healthy and varied diet includes eating fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, such as oats and brown rice, legumes such as lentils and beans, nuts, seeds, herbs, and spices, in addition to coffee and dark chocolate.”
Experts point to the “30 Plants a Week Challenge”, supported by Tim Spector, professor of genetic epidemiology at King’s College London, who said that “eating a wide range of foods may reduce your risk of cancer and help you stay healthy.”
Studies have shown that eating 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day can have a significant positive impact on your health in the long term.
