Even after the death of his father in Sivagangai, the incident where the Plus Two student wrote the exam has caused tension in the area.
Two Wheeler Mechanic Muthu (50) hails from Manamadurai Railway Colony, Sivagangai District. Manamadurai runs a two-wheeler workshop near the old bus stand. He has three sons. The third son Santosh (11) is studying Plus Two in a government aided private school opposite his father’s work shop. He was studying till midnight this morning when the Economics exam was to be held and slept next to his father. When he woke up in the morning, he was shocked to find his father dead in his sleep.
Then from there to his hometown D.C. While his father’s body was being taken to Alangulam village, only Santosh was sent by two relatives to come and write the test. The teachers have also written the exam saying consolation. After the examination, the relatives took the student Santosh to his hometown for the funeral of his father.
