Representatives of the AIADMK, Congress and Communist parties, led by committee chairman DR Palu, presented the petition to Secretary to President Ramnath Govind at the Presidential Palace. Despite repeated attempts to meet Home Minister Amit Shah, permission has not yet been obtained.
