A heartwarming addition to the family… Emergency room physician Carola Holzner, affectionately known as “Doc Caro,” is celebrating a new arrival – and it’s not a patient. The doctor is overjoyed with the birth of a foal, adding to her already full life and passion for animals.
Doc Caro Welcomes Foal Calippo Fizz C
The paramedic shared the delightful news on Instagram Sunday afternoon, posting sweet photos of the young stallion. “Welcome Calippo Fizz C ♥️ ‘Calle’ an absolute heartbreaker and beautiful colt is now part of the family ♥️ Tonight at 1.30 o’clock the little man was born without any problems and a proud and fit mom Bella now has a lot to do ♥️,” she wrote.
Did you know? Doc Caro already has two children and resides with her family in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
Holzner’s love for horses is well-documented. Beyond her demanding career as an emergency doctor, she dedicates time to her equestrian passion, sharing her experiences on YouTube and her website, “dreimalvierhufe.” She wrote on her website, “As a child, I always dreamed of owning my own horse. I watched Fury and Black Beauty and dreamed myself into my horse world. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity or support to gain a foothold in equestrian sport. My holidays at the pony farm were therefore sacred to me and I was just waiting for it all year.”

The newest addition brings Doc Caro’s horse family to four. She expressed her overwhelming joy on Instagram, stating, “He looks like dad and is now discovering the world 😍 Cashmere x Bretton Woods – we’re excited to see how he develops ♥️ Of course I’m in love anyway and for me he’s just absolutely perfect.”
