Fernandez can also play in the middle, but he is destined for the right line, where he performs best. He arrived at the Manchester City Academy at the age of 15 and was part of the club until 2020, but did not make an appearance in the senior team. He was loaned out for two years to Nak Barda from the Dutch league and then to Perugia from the second league in Italy, but failed to impress.
He made his breakthrough last season, in the Greek Volos uniform. He played 30 games, scored six goals and netted three more.
