Recently, Sunaina says that she has been looking for opportunities to act in stories that focus on female characters.

“I am an emotional actress. Before agreeing to act in a film, I always listen to the story and screenplay. If the screenplay is not good then I will skip that opportunity for Nasoo.
“It’s no use just being good at my character in a story. If all the characters are set up properly, the character I accept will touch the hearts of the audience.
“Otherwise the film will not succeed. My character will also not speak. There is no room for compromise in this matter,” says Sunaina.
Stating that her status has increased after her role in ‘Chilluk Karupatti’, she says that she has now earned a reputation as a director’s actress.

I did not come into this field thinking that I wanted to be in the limelight by acting in all the opportunities that came my way, or that I thought it would be a profit as long as I got it.
“That’s why I don’t want to be involved in social media. The name and fame gained by it will not last. I have refused many opportunities to act in films.
“This decision is because I love cinema so much. Otherwise, I don’t really care about ODD and big screen. After the shooting is over, the producers decide whether to give it to OTT or release it in theaters.
“I don’t interfere with it. Whatever the platform, I believe success is guaranteed if there is quality,” says Sunaina.
Saying that her experience of playing the wife of a police constable in ‘Lathi’ was unforgettable, Velanthi says that she loves roles like this.
