New Delhi:

Influenza subtype H3N2 virus is spreading in various states and union territories of India. Between January 2 and March 5, more than 450 people have been infected with the virus.

One each from Karnataka and Ariana have died recently.

This has caused great fear among the people. Could this be another corona attack? As they are getting nervous.

But experts say not to panic about this new type of virus. At the same time, they have advised to intensify monitoring and precautionary measures.

In this way, one of the leading doctors of Apollo Hospital, Tarun Sakhani said, ‘There is no need to admit all the people infected with this virus to the hospital. Only 5 percent stay and receive treatment. So no need to worry. It is enough to take precautionary measures like those taken during the Corona period,’ he said.

He said that such spread of infection is natural during this period every year, but this year it was 2 or 3 times more than usual.

Another Dr Aggarwal said, ‘I don’t expect a big wave because of general immunity and vaccinations for flu. At the same time, the spread of all kinds of infections and deaths are worrisome,” he said.

This H3N2 virus is transmitted by pigs and infected people. People infected with this virus have problems like fever, respiratory problems like other blue virus infections. At the same time, symptoms like body pain, vomiting and diarrhea also occur.

Central and state governments are taking drastic measures to prevent the spread of the disease. Special medical camps are also being conducted by the state governments.
