Last Tuesday afternoon, the streets of the Tlalpan mayor’s office were shaken by a tragic road incident that left a person dead and four injured. The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) managed to arrest the driver.
It all started when the South Command and Control Center (C2) received the alert about a multiple crash on Anillo Periférico avenuespecifically in the Parques del Pedregal neighborhood.
Upon arriving at the scene, the agents found an individual on the ground on the pavement, surrounded by blood stains, while four vehicles showed obvious signs of collision.
Who were the victims of the pileup?
A 24-year-old woman driving a blue car, along with her four-year-old son, were rushed to hospital after suffering injuries that included a cervical sprain and multiple contusions.
On the other hand, a young 18-year-old driver suffered a bruise to his ankle, while the passenger of a blue vehicle lost his life due to head trauma.
Witnesses pointed to a 37-year-old individual, driver of a white vehicle, as allegedly responsible for the crash.
