The Dacia Jogger appeals to people who need a lot of seats and don’t want to spend a lot of money on a car. Of course, they have to make a few compromises.
Dhe name of a car is not entirely irrelevant, after all you have to like it and maybe live with it for the life of the car. This one evokes the wrong association. A jogger runs a distance at a moderate speed, which used to be called endurance running. You can do it alone, you rarely have your family or luggage with you. The Dacia Jogger, on the other hand, is either a donkey or a vehicle for people with children. There can be five in the middle and rear seats. And if you do the math, you will be amazed to find that the transport option in the Romanian mobile costs less than 3000 euros per head. Where else is this?
For this, the family man from Dacia gets a hybrid – not as far as the drive is concerned, which has so far been quite conventional. But the Jogger can pass as a cross between a minivan and a station wagon, and because it’s selling well, the manufacturer puts on some plastic parts, raises it a notch and calls it a crossover. The Jogger is on the same platform as the Renault Clio and Dacia Sandero.
