jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The SAR team found a victim who drowned in the Ciliwung River, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (1/5) morning, after searching since Tuesday (30/4).
According to information, the team found the first victim MAS (5) on Wednesday morning dead, then Arif on the same day at different times.
Head of Basarnas Jakarta as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in the SAR Operation Desiana Kartika Bahari said the victim named Arif Mujahidin (19) was found in the Ciliwung River in a radius of approximately 1.2 kilometers from the incident location at around 06.30 WIB.
“The joint SAR team found the last victim again after the search continued this morning, and we then handed over the body to the family at the funeral home,” he said in his statement in Jakarta, Wednesday (1/5).
Desiana said that search efforts were carried out by joint SAR elements by conducting searches using rubber boats along the Ciliwung stream up to a radius of 2.5 km.
Then, land searches along the Ciliwung riverbank to a radius of 5 km from the incident location.
The joint SAR team in question includes, among others, Basarnas Jakarta, Central Jakarta Fire Brigade, DKI Jakarta BPBD, Tanah Abang Police, Tanah Abang Koramil Babinsa, Karet Tengsin Satpol PP, Central Jakarta PMI, Karet Tengsin PPSU, Randu Jajar, CVI, APPI, WMI , KORGAD Rescue, Arya Giri Indonesia, Ranupal Indonesia, Response Team, and the community.
Previously, Arif and another person, namely MAS (5), were known to have drowned on Tuesday (30/4) at around 09.42 WIB in the Ciliwung River, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta.
The victim who drowned in the Ciliwung River, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, was found dead by the joint SAR Team.
