The time has come for LOS40 Music Awards 2020, the most important musical party in Spain, where the artists Dua Lipa, Maluma and David Bisbal were the big winners this time, with two awards each.
LOS40, according to the official website of the awards, experienced the most special edition of its 15 years of existence, with an award ceremony that for the first time did not have the presence of the public, but which brought together the best of national music and international to celebrate that common passion together.
Among the other winners are Aitana, Karol G, Aya Nakamura, Pablo Alborán, Nil Moliner, The Weeknd, Morat, Tones and I, Nea, Camilo and C. Tangana, with one award each.
Several of them performed at the gala, David Bisbal being the first, followed by C. Tangana, who took over the stage along with La Húngara and Niño de Elche, to sing “Tú me ceased to love.” Something that caught a lot of attention was his wardrobe, since he wore a yellow tracksuit, very in tune with his avant-garde style when listening to music. Then he returned in front of the cameras to be named Best Urban Artist or Group of the Year in the Latin Category.
Both Camilo and Pablo Alborán also brought their light to the stage, illuminating the big screens and filling the gala with emotion, and the viewers who accessed it through the broadcast on LOS40 and LOS40.com, the app and the TV channel. Youtube.
Important within the ceremony were the duets and collaborations, such as Alborán with Beret in “Sueño”, David Otero and Taburete with “Una foto en blanco y negro”, and Nil Moliner with Dani Fernández, with “Soldadito de iron” .
Dua Lipa was one of the great protagonists of the night, with her triumph translated into the awards for Best Artist and Best Album in the International Category; With the release of “Future Nostalgia” shortly after the global expansion of the pandemic, it became the soundtrack that accompanied many homes during quarantine.
Also notable were the presentations of the young Swedish girl Nea (Best Dance Artist/Producer); Pablo López, and Tones and I (Best International Song of 2020).
However, the presence of Aitana (Best Artist in the Spain category) was missed, who before the recording of the awards tested positive for Covid-19, as happened with members of the Morat group.
That’s where the awards gala was, you have to watch the broadcast because nothing is comparable to enjoying the artists performing accompanied by their charisma and the stage designs, which make the imagination fly along with the music.
