Dubai Tennis: Sania and Dinamani in the semifinals

Dubai: The pair of India’s Sania Mossa qualified for the semifinals of the Dubai Women’s Tennis Championships in the doubles category.

Sania Moza / Czech Republic’s Lucy Radeka defeated Japan’s Shuko Ayama / Sophia’s Alexandra Kurunich 7-5, 6-3 in the quarterfinals.

Two Indian pairs: Meanwhile, two Indian pairs advanced to the semifinals of the Bangalore Open-2 Ottawa tennis tournament in doubles.

In the quarterfinals, Saket Maineni / Ramkuma Ramanathan defeated Johny’s Kai Wenelt / Ukraine’s Vladislav Olov 6-4, 7-6. Similarly, Sriram Balaji / Vishnu Watan defeated Japan’s Toshihide Matsui / Greece’s Mokos Kalovalonis 6-3, 4-6, 11-9.
