For passengers in Dubai and Sharjah,Emirates offers a home check-in service. Emirates agents will complete the check-in process at the customer’s home, hotel, or office and transport their luggage to the flight, allowing passengers to arrive at the airport with only their hand luggage. This service is complimentary for First Class customers and Platinum Skywards members, but requires booking at least 24 hours in advance.

Emirates also advises utilizing public transportation, specifically the Dubai Metro, to avoid potential road congestion. The Dubai Metro provides a fast and convenient connection to Terminal 3 at DXB via the Red line, with frequent trains running from early morning until late at night.
