The Natural Gas Authority in the Ministry of Energy has, for the first time, issued warning letters before forfeiting guarantees to five natural gas distribution companies: Super NG Hadera and the Valleys, Natural Natural Gas, Super NG, Marimon Natural Gas North, and Harness Natural Gas, due Delays of the companies in connecting consumers to the distribution network of natural gas.
The reason for the warning letters is the license granted to them by the state, under which the companies are obliged to compile a list of consumers at specified times. The distribution companies will be given an opportunity to voice their views on the issue in the coming weeks.
The announcement from the Natural Gas Authority states that the amount of guarantees that will be forfeited at the end of the process may reach millions of shekels, depending on the claims that the companies will raise during the hearings.
