As of April 30, 2021, the RA state debt is 8.7 billion US dollars, which has increased by 804 million US dollars or 10% compared to the beginning of the year, wrote economist Suren Parsyan, head of the economic research office of the ARF Bureau.

“It is obvious that this public debt will be a burden for our country, because these funds were directed mainly to finance current expenses (salaries, bonuses, social expenses, etc.).

Of course, if the current authorities are reintroduced, they will continue to increase the state debt without thinking about who, when and how will pay it in the future.

On the one hand, this government borrows money, on the other hand, it returns money to big business, that is, it supports big business at the expense of society, and the business just takes these money out of Armenia.

In the conditions of this financial permissiveness, the debt of each citizen of the Republic of Armenia has become 2960 US dollars”, he wrote.
