“Each and every one of us is in pursuit”

by time news

The duo Guy and Yahel are releasing a new and powerful single from the new and fifth album that will be released soon.

Guy and Yahel said of the song: “Each and every one of us is in the pursuit of more, hoping to seize happiness, trying to earn more, following more in full faith that this is what will make us happy. Prove to ourselves and the world that we are not just “another face in the audience” but “someone in the world.” This song talks about these feelings and thoughts, why at the end of the road why does it matter? Only for who and what we are and the songs we will leave behind. “

On August 5, Guy and Yahel will celebrate a decade of their work and their breakthrough album in a new and festive show “Runners in the Air”.

The new album will be released this summer, featuring new songs and collaborations with “Metropolis” and Autumn Beger.

Words

How much time has passed and I still remember
How I tried like everyone else just to get more
Money or power
Just being someone in the world
From the side everything always looked perfect
Seeing movies writing songs
Traveling from place to place
Until the power ran out he was uncomfortable
And how much I want to go back now
Pursue the dreams
It is not easy
To stand in front of the world to say this is not a mistake
That’s what I want
And that’s normal
And God is holding my hand
And how time always slips between the fingers
At the end there will be no more questions left
Just what I sang
And that I stayed
What I wanted to be

And the years passed quickly I tried to sort it out
All this huge jigsaw puzzle that was scattered
On the floor and you do not want
That our round will be over
But life is not waiting for anyone
At the end someone gets up and turns off the light and does not care
If we delivered what we dreamed
So we really should wake up
Pursue the dreams
It is not easy
To stand in front of the world to say this is not a mistake
That’s what I want
And that’s normal
And God is holding my hand
And how time always slips between the fingers
At the end there will be no more questions left
Just what I sang
And that I stayed
What I wanted to be
