Among the companies and mutual funds that participated in trading on the country’s main capital market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in the outgoing week (March 31 to April 4), the share price of Eastern Bank PLC fell the most.

The company’s shares topped DSE’s weekly price decliners list as investors waned. This information was revealed on the basis of DSE’s weekly market review on Saturday (April 6).

According to the data, the share price of Eastern Bank fell by 16.51 percent in the outgoing week. The closing price of the company’s shares was Rs 32.10 in the previous week. And at the end of the farewell week, the closing price of the company stood at Tk 26.80. With this, the company’s shares have risen to the top of DSE’s weekly price drop list.

Other top gainers on the DSE weekly were Emerald Oil 15.87 percent, IBBL Mudaraba Perpetual Bond 15.44 percent, BD Thai Aluminum 12.36 percent, Golden Son 12.16 percent, Asiatic Laboratories 10.79 percent, Central Shares of Pharma lost 10.10 percent, Golden Harvest Agro Industries 9.84 percent, Deshbandhu Polymers 9.20 percent and Acme Pesticides 8.86 percent.
