The High Court heard this case and said that the CBI Ordered to investigate. Against this, Edappadi Palaniswami filed an appeal in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court, CBI, which investigated this case. In 2018, it ordered an interim injunction to investigate.
Hearing today
The case was pending for the last 4 years without being listed for trial. Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu Anti-Corruption Department has requested to hear this appeal.
After 4 years of accepting this, the case was heard on July 26 and adjourned to August 3 (today).
